As you all may know, the downtown neighborhood association and other surrounding neighborhoods have been working with the Councilor Bentons office and the Water Authority to try and get rid of some of the sewer smells that linger in the warmer days of the year..
Finally, after many months of deliberation, the Water Authority is ready to get started on the odor treatment facility on second and Griegos. The plan is to start construction by April and be done by June 2010. I have linked the power point pres that I sat in on last week, just go give you some additional info. Thanks to Roger Elsinger for staying involved with in this painful and time consuming process and keeping the pressure on Councilor Benton's office.
